Things I've Learned in 6th Grade

   In sixth grade I have learned many things. I have learned about all of the continents in the western hemisphere in social studies, including the countries and the climate and everything that has to with that continent. I liked a lot of the projects we did with it. I have learned many new things in math to do with fractions, decimals, negative numbers, ect. In science I have learned how identify rocks which was my favorite, and to do with matter and gravity. My other favorite parts in science were all of the projects and how much hands on stuff we got to do.

GAME plan updated

1) My goal is to end the year with all A's and no more blue slips.
2) I will need to work hard and get all of my homework done before the day it's due.
3) To moniter myself by checking my grades and go over a mental check list and check my bag to see if I did all of my homework.
4) I will evaluate myself in the end by checking my report card, and remember if I have gotten anymore blue slips.

My Favorite Painting

My favorite painting is the moonlight painting over the lake with the beautiful reflection on the water. I liked it because of the reflection and how pretty it looked.

Opinoin: My opinoin on this is that Jon Cryer should stay on the show becuase it wouldn't be 'Two and a Half Men' without him.

Soldiers with Mental Illness
Summary: Mostly deployed slodiers get PSTD wich is a stress/depression disorder. They got this from a gas in their training and after they were deployed and had relationship problems, or family problems they had depression.

Opinoin: My opinoin on this is that stress and depression is bad and they need to do something to prevent this gas from getting to them.

Mine and Eperanza's Sping Break

   If Esperanza was in my spring break class and she had spring break as the same time as us she would probably do the same daily thing. She would, babysit, change diapers, and sweep at noon. She would help her mother get well and Isabel work with her school work. The first day she would help her mother and clean as in wash the clothes and diapers all throughout the day. At noon was time to sweep the big something I forgot the name of.... Then she would go back home wait for Isabel and do the same thing as she does. Also on special days she would go to a party called a fiesta. They have fun all night where the adualts drink and the kids dance around and just have fun.
  
   My spring break was so different. Daily I was at one of my freinds's houses playing games outside or inside. While our mothers were taking care of us because they were healthy. We did not take care of anyone younger than us or babysat. We cleaned the house to be able to do something fun.

  I learned that Mitch Albom is a busy person with a wife and a lot of writing jobs. He has written many books, and sports articles. He has also won over many awards.
  I liked that he has a busy life because everyone needs a challenge. I like that he can share his life through his writing because not many people like to write personel things.

Wonderings About The Trip

For the trip I want to know about all of the animals to learn something new. I wonder about what they eat and how many species of sea mammals there are. I wonder what to see other than sea animals, or if I'm going to learn some history of animals or in general. I wonder what I am going to like the most of what they look like or something else. I wonderwhat cool new things I will get to learn. I hope it's fun!!!!!

OPINOIN: My opinoin of this is that he was a good person who died for a bad reason. In the article it said that he was a good person. I wish he would not have died.

My Field trip post.

    In Shedds Aquarium they show us what the animals are and how they live. They have all kinds of fish and other sea animals. Other Penguins, sharks, lizards, jellyfish, stingrays, dolphins, they are all animals I'm looking forward to see.
   At the Feild Museum they have bones of animals, we get to learn about history, they have parts of biology,zoology, geology. They have artifacts of the past. They even have an exhibit about chocolate!!! With an exhibit about all of he natural diasters, such as, tsunamis, and others.

  I'm excited most about the cocolate, and history exhibits!!! I expect to have a lot of fun seeing all of the animals and spending time with friends.

What My Parents Should Expect at Confrences

 In sixth grade I'm doing good. My parents should expect a good report from the teachers about me, other than talking. They should get a hardworker, and gets things done; when they talk. They should expect a helping hand when she WANTS to, or when I ask her to do something she usually does it. Well, at least thats what I hope my mom hears.

It’s Love

This is a story of how Valentine’s Day became. It has to do with two cardinals, named Joy and Aushis. They are in love.

            “Hello, my love bird.” Aushis announced. Joy ignored him. He didn’t think he didn’t do anything to make her mad. They sat in silence, until she walked away.

            He followed behind her. “Honey, why are you mad at me? It is February 14th a regular old day. I’m sure I didn’t forget anything.”

            “Okay, remember when you said I had a weird chirp?” He nodded yes. “It bothered me a lot.”

            “Okay.” He said.

            “Well now I forgive you because I know you still love me for who I am. Love you.” She said in a thoughtful voice,

            “Okay we will officially announce this day Valentines Day. Only because that word sounds good. It will be celebrated with love!!!”

     I offered my life for you because I've had many years of it. You Edmund has only had few years. I want you to live through memories after memories. I've lived through plenty anyway, my time is to come. If my life is taken for yours, you'd must stay with your siblings.

Last semesters gameplan went great. It wasn't easy at all. I had to pay extra attention and I had to get all of my homework in. If I didn't I would have to catch up. I did aceive my goal.

Prompt 1

     A man named Jake sees ghosts. He's worried so he checks himself into a mental institution. Not relizing that the institution has been closed for thirty years. Jake isn't the only one in the building though. Someone is watching him walk in the strange old institution and wondering why anyonee would want to go in there. He walked in and saw all of these people. He asked one of the stange figures "Please stop. I need to know what wrong with me, I've been seing dead people. Not like in a grave ghosts aren't real. How could I.. come on people stop walking away from me." He attemped to stop a person. She walked  right through him. He walks out of the building and thought he needed to do it another day. He was waiting and wondering how could that person walk through him and waiting for the next day to come. Jake went to bed talking to himself. He saw glimpses of people in his house. He knew it couldn't have been ghosts because there can't be ghosts and he didn't believe in spirits or ghosts. The only explanation was being mental. He woke up. This time he went early. He walked in and it was completely dead. As in no one there. It was silent. The girl that was watching him last night asked him, "Why were you in that place last night. It's been shut down for at least thirty years now."
      "I went in there and there was people. they were wlaking and talking amongts themselves. I hope i wasn't seeing things. Again" He was agrivated.
       "I can help you." She said."I see ghosts to. My dog can help. He is great with them. Sometimes he opens up right away to dog loving ghosts." They walked to see the little girls' dog.
        "Hi," the dog greerted him. He sensed that he knew about Lisa being able to see ghosts and also knowing that he could.
         "How is that dog talking?" He asked Lisa.
         "He just can." Lisa responded. "It's a long story. Sorry I didn't mean to snap" Jake stood silent. They all waited until it was atleast tewlve to go back into the facility. It was around that time and they all saw the people again.
          "This is the world of the ded... Just kidding. The story to this is that it got shut down a long time ago and everyone dided that worked here, or died here." They walked. A ghost talked to them. Jake jumped. They all tried helping there unfinished work. They tried and tried. The ghosts didn't want to do anyhting. I think they wanted to be here. It was there happy place when no one made fun of them or no one to bother them. Lisa helped Jake with his problem and he lived great.
